Yesterday the regional team travelled south to Bournemouth to play the Ferns (not the Silver variety) for their first competitive match since play stopped due to COVID-19 in 2020!

Alongside experienced Raychem faces, it has been exciting to welcome some lovely new players into the club, all of whom have been training hard pre-season.

The girls did us proud with a 69-54 win with what Tracy said was, "a great squad performance."

The players were delighted to be back on court and had the following to say:

"I loved being back on court with everyone today. Everyone was so supportive and it was a really nice atmosphere."

"I loved being back playing netball and even more into such a supportive and friendly team!"

"So happy to be back on court! It was a team game today and felt like we were working for eachother."

"Winner winner chicken dinner!"

"R-efreshed

Many thanks to Mo and Tracy for travelling to Bournemouth with the squad.
